Antiques Line Main Street for Antique & Vintage Show.

This Saturday, June 24th, from 9AM – 5 PM on the sidewalks of Main Street in downtown Hendersonville the 26th annual Antique & Vintage show will take place. Vendors arrive from all over the South to display and sell their fine collected pieces.   Quality vendors will be on the sidewalks of Main Street from 1st Avenue through 6th Avenue.  It is always a fun and exciting time.  Main Street itself is open to the traffic as the vendors are on the sidewalk,  so one can just drive up to pick up your purchased item.

In the 600 block, D.A.D.S. Collectibles  will host a “vintage wheels” display  All kinds of cars, motorcycles and old bicycles will be there.   Mark Ray is hoping for good weather, which will bring many more vintage wheels to the space.  This year he is hoping to “take it to the next level.”  There will be a historic police car, almost 50 years old, which should be there, before restoration and of interest to many.

Many vendors will be arriving from all over the South to display their items. Retailers from South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and many other states all bring a mixture of vintage and antiques to sell on Saturday in Hendersonville.   A variety of very fine collectible items.   You will be able to find classic antiques, vintage textile, clothing, and many sought after items. There will be 1910-1970’s sporting goods, vintage sewing machine and of course lots of furniture.  Beautiful vintage jewelry is usually one of the best sellers.

Jane Asher of Jane Asher Antiques is the event’s presenting sponsor and as such will have a display in front of her store.  This is the third year she has sponsored this event and mentioned that the local stores and businesses undoubtedly do benefit from the influx of people to the area. It  finds that it always a stimulating and exciting day for everyone.    Myra Jensen, who had actively led this event for almost 10 years, is also a sponsor this year with items in front of her store, Village Antique Mall.  All are hoping for good weather on Saturday in Hendersonville.
