The final concert of the year will be held on May 18th, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church at 20 Oak Street in Asheville. It will feature the standard honor choir repertoire, Disney songs, classical Vivaldi and Bartok, folk songs, and gospel singing. There will be soloists and joining us on upright bass will be Dr. Vance Reese. Refreshments will be offered after the concert.

In April, 2012 the Celebration Singers performed in Carnegie Hall, and in April, 2013, they performed with The Modern American Music Project in the opera “Dead Man Walking.” In March 2014 nine members participated in an auditioned national choir sponsored by American Organization of Kodaly Educators in Atlanta, Georgia.
