The Asheville Gallery of Art’s featured artist for October will be Hal Boyd. The theme of the exhibit is “Visual Capture,” with work that is both figurative and abstract.
In a half-century career, Boyd has exhibited widely, most recently with a one-person retrospective at the Minas Gallery in Baltimore. The Asheville Gallery of Art exhibit runs from October 1 through October 31, 2013.
The Asheville Gallery of Art, the longest-established downtown gallery in Asheville, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
